Recently I went to Flow festival in Helsinki, Fi. The festival is a mix
bag, but filled with big names. There was a lot of big name pop artists
playing, from Kendrick Lamar (or apperently now, Kung Fu Kenny), Arctic
Monkeys, St Vincent and Likki Li to ‘big DJs’ like Helena Hauff, Gerd
Janson, Peggy Gou and Young Marco.
Finland has some of the biggest taxes on alcohol in the world, and some of
the strictest laws and when and where you can buy it. This, obviously, is
not conducive to rekted at a festival. The security though was some of the
laxest I have encountered and we ended up smuggling in as much alcohol as
we could that we had got for cheap in international waters a couple of days
before.
